Donald Cox is a licensed Shiatsu Massage and Asian Bodywork practitioner certified by the AOBTA (American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia) since 1991.

Donald trained in on-site chair massage at touch Pro seminars with David Palmer, the "Grandfather of Chair Massage". He has also been certified as a Level II Reiki practitioner in traditional Usui Reiki. In 2004 Donald completed a course in Cranio-Sacro therapies. He continually adds training and certifications in order to broaden the scope of his healing practice.

Donald's treatment modality focuses on understanding each patient's orientation, environment, physical and emotional condition, and how it relates to any specific complaints that have prompted patients to seek treatment. He seeks to balance the energy flow within the patient, bring fast relief from pain, and discuss ways in which the patient can think differently about the issues that may have brought about the injury or illness.

Typically, his patients benefit from practical suggestions that enable them to make changes in their environment or personal regimen that help prevent further illness and injury, and help maintain a robust feeling of good health.

Donald performs therapeutic half-hour and full-hour sessions in his office location at 259 Mass Avenue, Arlington. He also contracts with businesses and other groups to perform chair massage on-site for dozens of patients within a pre-arranged schedule.
